Plunkett gets pandya.

Thought he batted very well. Stayed around and could have really hurt england. Now just need dhoni

Don't panic, even Burnley would win from here.
They can take 1s and 2s all day.

They'll take more risks and lose wickets, over 12 an over is massive.

So Pandya changes his bat, then first ball he's facing with his new bat he tries to hit it for 6 - but get's an edge and is caught.

I've only played the off game of social cricket. Was that good tactics?

Great performance on the whole.

Will be an interesting round 2 of Vaughan v Bairstow. A right Yorkshire knees up

Strange approach from India in last few overs.

Perhaps they don’t want a particular team to qualify.

If England win this and win or draw v NZ England are through... to Last 4

Pakistan have to win their last match by a bucketful to beat England

3 wickets for Plunkett today where the hell has he been,he just has the knack of striking at important moments of the game.

The difference in England's batting is amazing when Roy and Bairstow are together they set the tone for the whole team.

Incredible that India haven't hit a single six in this innings, shows how disciplined the England bowling has been.

62 needed off 4 overs we should see this one out,and then have to prepare for New Zealand.

The lesson seems to be if you win the toss you bat first and put runs on the board, the pressure chasing is telling on many teams.

What give you that idea, surely if you're India and you have a chance to eliminate one of your likely rivals, you put the hammer down, also India's own SF place isn't totally secure just yet,it would take some strange results for them not to finish in the top 4,but it is a possibility, albeit a slim one.

It was on the edge and then safe in a very short time. They have wickets in hand so the combination of key players out and good bowling has nailed it. Also, I don’t think they have had a 6 all innings....

Yes very strange if nothing else their RR could have been improved, and if they could have put pressure on England in the last 5/6 overs who knows what might have transpired.

If it was someone who didn’t have such a standing of Dhoni there would be serious questions asked about the end of this game.

It’s as if the looked at it with ten overs to go and decided they couldn’t get them. I think we’ve bowled really well but I their approach has been very strange.

The good news if we can beat NZ is that we will be in good form going into the semis...

Best way to qualify, a bit like the playoff team in form

That won't be easy,Boult is on fire, and the lad Ferguson has come of age in this tournament.

Equally their batting is usually solid,Williamson is the key,if we can get him early that would go a long way towards victory.

Amazing that only Australia are certain of a SF berth, when just a week ago the top 4 spots looked down and dusted, good for the tournament though that nearly every match will matter, and the group stage doesn't just fizzle out.

India had a good last over, even hitting a six, their fans aren't amused as Queen Victoria once reportedly said, and with good reason.

Knowing the Kiwi's mentality they absolutely will not, this behaviour could yet come back to bite the India's behinds,if England make the SF' and then the Final, and ultimately lift the trophy beating India along the way, they will rue this day.

Really good victory was that. Was a bit weird how India approached it at the beginning and end. Might have something to do with the RR I'm not sure. Let's hope NZ still have the jitters.

NZ were awful against the Aussies ( who IMO are by far the best team ). Kiwis are a bit of a 2 man team ( Boult and Williamson) but both can win a game almost single handed.
