 you know who’s having a shocker when there’s no thread also. Could be a ‘one team in Burnley’ day

Yes think that was a bit over the top, bad weekend though .To he fair he had a good game against Church, think it was 4 wickets and 40 Odd. They’re up at the top of the league and I’d imagine his experience is playing a part.

You’re a little bit obsessed with Lowerhouse looking at your post history...why don’t you come down for a pint?

He’s got a fair few this year. Had another 5fer. One of the top wicket takers in the Ribb league year before last.

Can’t even give a little praise.

I’ve had plenty of pints at Lowerhouse over the years and no doubt will continue to.

Keep the updates coming.

Our 'now amateur former pro' I think you mean. Our current paid player top scored in our innings.

Darwen beat Clitheroe, who were heavily accused of paying more than one player previously, by 9 wickets.

I set up this twitter list, if you want in play scores and play-cricket isn't working. Most of us clubs tweet live scores.

Very poor two days for the Burnley boys. But we're top of the league at the half way stage and still in the T20. Very poor shots to get out by but can be worked on. Jim Allenby has played very well and would love him to stay but Smit is back in a few weeks to fire us all the way to Memphis
Come on the Burnley boys

I thought Linde was only going back on the 15th July. They've got a sub pro in from 21st July to end of August and then Smit is sub pro 1st and 8th September. Smit is definitely back for Burnley when Allenby goes

Another win for the mighty Colne! Price 129 out of 239-8, Enfield pro Pussegolla 90 out of 214 all out. Last wicket fell on the last ball. Top top top top top of the league! (And I don't say that very often!)

Do you think the split in leagues has been a good change? From a Burnley point of view I think it's been fantastic. Good to see Colne doing well again!

Yes. Far fewer games that are over before they began. (If we're still top two at the end of the season, I might not be so sure about two divisions next year!)

It has been an excellent move doing the split. Just look at the top division and how wide open it really is. Every game close. No whipping boys.
be interesting to see how the two promoted teams cope next season whoever they are. Likewise how the relegated teams do.
