They don't - they sell shirts for under-18s without it but do them in very large sizes - but their adult kits have the ads on.wilks_bfc wrote:Would be even better if we could do what WHU do and sell adults without it

Re: New Kit Launch
I'm usually very critical of our new kits but there are just two things I don't like about this one. I would prefer the neck to be blue all the way round and, of course, the awful sponsors logo just ruins it. Other than that, compared to some recent shirts, I actually like it. I'd buy one if I could get one without the sponsor on.

They’re football kits, they’re fine. I am impressed by the Mondrian room they’ve done the away kit shoot in though.Selby Claret wrote:City's two kits both suspect - hardly a glorious switch to Puma

Buy two, cut a square panel out of the back of one and sew it over the sponsor logos of the other. Hey presto a sponsor less home kit and some new claret dusting cloths!ClaretTony wrote:I'm usually very critical of our new kits but there are just two things I don't like about this one. I did get a home shirt one season with no sponsor on - it was when Super League were doing them and Joyce Pickles gave me one that had been done before the sponsors logo went on. Was always one of my favourite shirts.

I’ll be ensuring that zonal performance doesn’t cause the wicking away of the money from my wallet. Because it’s a stinker of a shirt.

I like it
I also like both of City's new kits
Not so sure about the goalie(?) shirt Tom's wearing though.

Re: New Kit Launch
Interesting that Heaton has modelled the keepers' kit. Players supposedly on their way out don't usually do this.

Re: New Kit Launch
With the exception of the collar, I don’t mind the design.
However, I hope that the kits the players are modelling are rushed prototypes, because those weird creases just above the chest (particularly in the Westwood photo), make it look a poor fit.
If your promo photos, using a professional athlete, don’t look great, it doesn’t bode well for your average fan.

Shorts are the best thing about it. Not a fan of the collar, and the logo is huge.
I do like Umbro's stuff though, so keeping fingers crossed for decent change kits

Re: New Kit Launch
Regarding sponsorship of the shirt. Last season the sleeve was a different sponsor than the shirt front.
Does the same sponsor on the front also get the sleeve in the same deal this season, or have they had to pay extra for the sleeve as well?

Is the promo photo showing the goalkeeper top hanging from an exit gate a subliminal message?

I agree about the collar, with that bit in the middle it looks like a trendy vicar going on a Pride marchClaretTony wrote:I'm usually very critical of our new kits but there are just two things I don't like about this one.
