New Kit Launch
Just been on the club site to see the new kit.
What a waste of ******* time. If that's supposed to be a teaser, it isn't, it's shite.
If you are advertising that the new kit gets revealed at a certain time, you should at least reveal the bloody thing.

The reveal isn’t until 9.30am.

The sleeve one I could live with tbh
The front one looks like a very poorly bird has flown over
And seeing the pic of Dwight, it looks like he thinks the same

Right over the splodge on the arm I’d assume. I’m hoping this means the arm splodge was just there for the launch and won’t be on the ones they sell.MarkGreen wrote:Where do the PL badges go....?

Re: New Kit Launch
Quick double check - both sleeves last year - right sleeve year before - both sleeves year before that - guessing there's some flexibilitySelby Claret wrote:They were on both sleeves last year - is this a change?
Re: New Kit Launch
At least it looks like a Burnley Shirt but the detail is poor. The sponsor logo is poor without question. What about the shorts and socks ?

You only have one PL sleeve badge if you have a sleeve ad - I think the shirt we see is the one they will be selling.martin_p wrote:Right over the splodge on the arm I’d assume. I’m hoping this means the arm splodge was just there for the launch and won’t be on the ones they sell.

Re: New Kit Launch
I can almost hear Dwight saying “what the ****?” As he’s looking down at it.
Didn’t realise a Chinese sponsor would insist on a traditional Chinese collar.
**** shade of Claret as well.

You’ve got to love our annual new kit threads
Ranges from worst kit ever to loving its simplicity when in reality for the last 10 years other than the odd collar change it hardly changes !
For what it’s worth I think it looks ok - i’m just glad it’s still claret and blue !
(And yes the sponsors logos still ruin it but given last years ridiculous oversize betting chip i’m just relieved we don’t have a big picture of a one armed bandit on the back)

It's crap.
Re: New Kit Launch
The white shorts include a two-contrast coloured panel side seam, with full-colour woven crest, internal drawcords and elasticated waistband.Blackrod wrote:What about the shorts and socks ?
White home socks with sky blue contrast side leg panel and BFC wording to the back compliment the kit.

Re: New Kit Launch
Agree. Nice kit, better kit without the sponsorship (but what can you do). Be great if they reintroduced the rules limiting the size of the sponsorship logo they had when sponsors first came in in the early 80s.TVC15 wrote:You’ve got to love our annual new kit threads

Rule changed when they first allowed sleeve advertising - you don't have to have one on the ad side.Selby Claret wrote:They were on both sleeves last year - is this a change?

Re: New Kit Launch
I'm not fussed either way, I wouldn't wear one but thats a decent point - they could easily do away with it for fan shirts. The kit sponsor is for the TV audience, not in case you might bump into a Chinese gambler on St James St.wilks_bfc wrote:

I like it. I think it will be the first one I’ve liked enough to buy for ages.
Re: New Kit Launch
Shirt sponsorship is 40 years old this year, I think Liverpool were the first. It’s been allowed to get out of hand over the last few years though with sponsorship seeming more important than the club badges.
