Shame we didn’t look at McGinn when is was up north. That’s the type of player I think we need and who was available well within our budget.
Hendrick is useful as a utility player but in fairness, we’ve much better in any of the positions that he plays. There has to come a point where we are looking to improve on the first XI not just looking to keep a fine balance / harmony in the squad (which is of course important).
We do lack competition / variation for some key positions.
