Clarets Player Subscription Cancellation
In mid-June I e-mailed ifollow@online.efl advising them that I wished to cancel my subscription to Clarets Player when it came up for renewal at the beginning of July.
I wasn't happy to discover this morning when I checked my e-mails that, regardless of my instruction to the contrary,my subscription had been deducted.
I rang the number on the bottom of the renewal e-mail (01772 325800) which I presume is the EFL HQ. They gave me another number 0207 8264577 which, when I rang it, re-routed my call to the mobile of someone called Ian Logan, who i'm waiting to ring me back.
Has anyone else encountered a similar problem?
Thanks

Hi t_m_r
I cancelled mine by emailing finance@efl.com and they replied immediately and actioned accordingly.
Hope that helps?

Not being funny but you should never trust a company to cancel a direct debit. Why didn't you cancel it yourself at the same time? If you want a job done properly, and all that.

From memory i dont think CP is a direct debit, more a recurring card payment, so not really cancellable from the consumer sideSausage wrote:Not being funny but you should never trust a company to cancel a direct debit. I think you're correct, Zizkov. Whatever the payment arrangement,I naively assumed that if I followed the instructions correctly a professional organisation would do what it said it would.
Re: Clarets Player Subscription Cancellation
Zizkov is absolutely right its a recurring card payment ...
Not a Direct Debit .....
