Nike Trainers

Post by Imploding Turtle » Wed Jul 03, 2019 11:30 am

I love it. The people who burned their Nike trainers and cut up their Nike clothing and vowed never to buy Nike products again because they hired a black guy who opposes police brutality, are flipping their **** because Nike changed their mind on selling a pair of trainers with a slavery-era American flag on them.

:lol:

But remember, we're the trigger kittens for objecting to racism, police brutality and all that stuff they like.

They just want to vent their anger and not being allowed to say the N-word outloud without society calling them racist. Probably. Who knows with these people?

I'm pretty sure Nike are doing it deliberately at this point. Their value went up something like $6 billion the last time they triggered these morons by hiring the bad black man who knelt.

They never seem to object to their Nike products being made in sweat shops over in the far East either.

Strange bunch are the yanks.

Is it Nike who have been accused of having some sort of subliminal anti muslim
message on the soles of some of their shoes ?

Does anyone really 'flip their ****' about any of this, I mean in the real world. Whether it's this or any other daily controversy. These stories only really exist to fill 5 minutes on a Twitter feed, no one's arsed really.

Apparently if you turn the logo Air Max upside down, it is alleged to vaguely resemble the name of their sky fairy written in Arabic. It "ruined Eid" according to some East Lancashire based followers of said sky fairy.

Some people will find offence anywhere. If you don't like it, don't buy Nike trainers.

I think this qualifies as "flipping ones ****"

https://inews.co.uk/sport/colin-kaepern ... ustburnit/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's another example of **** being flipped, this time directed towards their own coffee makers which they've already paid for. This time it's because the company, Koenig, decided they didn't want to have their adverts feature during the Sean Hannity show because of his support for a child molester.

https://twitter.com/AngeloJohnGage/stat ... 51526?s=20" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And here's another **** flipper. This time it's a protest against Gillette because they made an advert denouncing toxic masculinity. He is so angry that he threw his razor in the toilet (which he then no doubt had to retentive himself because he's an idiot who doesn't think things through.

https://twitter.com/warroom/status/1085 ... 80129?s=20" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Here's some of them protesting Shia LeBaouf, for some reason relating to art, or something, by getting topless and chugging milk with each other, because nothing screams love of your fellow man like having milk dripping from your face. Or something. Maybe it's a euphemism.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dTy6f_HyuQU" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

and so on...

Yeah, that's just what I meant really. Some people on the internet getting pretend furious for attention.

Nobody at my kids' footy tonight will be talking about it, or give a s**t. None of our mates will text about it. It's not going to be mentioned in the pub at the weekend. Like I say, nobody who goes outdoors really cares.

Except you apparently care enough to post in a thread about it a number of times. But, whatever makes you feel better about yourself.

The better question is why anyone cares what any celebrity feels about any subject whatever it is. Seriously, they're just people. People can have opinions and they're welcome to them but I don't care to let any of them affect my life. Regardless of what point of view they have. I would neither burn shoes I'd previously bought, nor refuse to buy shoes from a company based on what someone who is or used to be famous thinks.
