No surprise, Sean Dyche was an easy winner to manage the team of the last ten years

Did we look at anyone else? If we went back 50 years, 1969, would we look at anyone else?ClaretTony wrote:No surprise, Sean Dyche was an easy winner to manage the team of the last ten years

Competition for Sean if we went back 60 years, though.

Re: ARTICLE: Dyche to manage the ten year team
The first time I spoke to Sean Dyche was around a month after he'd started. We were stood in what's now the 1882 Lounge under a picture of Harry Potts. Sean said he wanted to learn some of the history of the club and I pointed at the picture and told him that if he did half as well as Harry he'd be absolutely fine at Burnley.Paul Waine wrote:Did we look at anyone else? Harry won the league when the playing field, while not level, was more competitive, but it would be a hard decision to choose between them.

Definite vote rigging going on here, I voted for Coyle at least 10 times
Truth be told what he has achieved with Burnley has been brilliant for the club and town SD that is.

Odd that any votes were not cast for Mr D.
