Don't forget, Newcastle are the second biggest club in England, after Leeds that is.

Yes BT (I should know that) - your list is a summary not about dates and we know the period when they are to occur by game number in the schedule and the contract with the premier league is all the confirmation required

Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2019/20
Man City & Everton (See link) - agreed during last season that they would have these two packages. They'll be shuffling them around with the confirmed kick off dates/times to be included with the December TV picks which is scheduled for 11th October.NL Claret wrote:Phil Bird retweeted a tweet from amazon prime video sport who said we are on twice in December. Did the Amazon package not include a deal to show every Boxing Day game?
The link is from June 2018 but states just that.

Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2019/20
Premier League confirmed on Friday that there would be a delay. I would expect them to be confirmed either tomorrow or Tuesday.
Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2019/20
More than the fair share of a third of the teams, at this rate. The Sky decision maker must have some allegiance....perhaps the owner is able to help him!ClaretTony wrote:Newcastle get more than their fair share of games

Correct. Update from Virgin.
You might have heard the news that we’ll no longer be operating as Virgin Trains from 8 December 2019. As you can imagine, we’re extremely disappointed by this news. From that date onwards, First Trenitalia will be continuing all our hard work. Don’t worry, we’ll continue to provide you with amazing service until then. All tickets are still valid as normal, and you can continue to book the best fares from us. See you onboard soon!

I wonder if the new provider will still do the group discount. With Virgin if you book a group ticket for 3 or more people you can get 20% discount on a lot of tickets. Comes in handy for the London away games.BaronGarcia wrote:I think the Saturday is the last day for Virgin

Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2019/20
Yeah, not sure jrgbfc. I travel from Preston to London most weeks as I work in the City and buy a lot of my tickets in batches. No information from the new guys other than promising better comfort and food in 1st class. so as long as they don’t up the prices, I will be happyjrgbfc wrote:I wonder if the new provider will still do the group discount. I imagine they will do. That seems to apply across most non-peak trains, not just Virgin.jrgbfc wrote:I wonder if the new provider will still do the group discount. Re: Premier League TV Appearances 2019/20
The top six is hardly a shock (although why Arsenal on more than Chelsea or Liverpool?) but still mystified by the Newcastle figure (must be a record for a team involved in a relegation battle) or even Everton. Also slightly surprised by the relatively low figure for Wolves. Our figure doesn't surprise me at all, we are a small club (albeit doing well) who are, to a non-Claret, a bit painful to watch I suppose.ClaretTony wrote:Number of games per club following today's release
