Sat watching Sri Lanka v India as I'm home alone, should really go somewhere to watch some cricket, soak up the sun and relax.

I'm a poor man, and I spent too much at the bar last night.ClaretTony wrote:They are letting you in free, spend some money at the bar.
I have just invested in 36 cans to enjoy in the garden.
If I do venture down I could try my 4th pie of the day though if the famous cheese pie you mentioned us available?

You can if you want, if you like drinking warm beer.MACCA wrote:I might just do that. Have a few hours down there. Can you take a few beers down?
The bar is well stocked though. Budweiser on tap with Bud Light or Stella.
Real ales on at £2.50-80 a pint and plenty in bottles.

Any ciders on?
I'll bring some cans and some cash then.
Might have to walk down so will take me 45 mins
Re: Lancashire League 06/07
Littleborough v Bacup for me. Might persuade brother in law to come. He opened the bowling for Bacup back in the day. We can drink beer and tell each other how good we were

Cheers, I'm on way now. I can bring my own strongbow, but I'll only bring a couple as they'll get warm. Then I'll sample the delights on offer.

It's good up at Padiham - provided you are not playing football next door should they hit a few sixes.MACCA wrote:Cheers, I'm on way now. I can bring my own strongbow, but I'll only bring a couple as they'll get warm. Then I'll sample the delights on offer.

Not as bad as usual, and I've only fell off the wagon today as my plans got shattered.
I even managed to go the club last night and resist all pies ant the warmer was fully stocked.
I'll be good again after today

Locals not happy with one umpire. Toxy bowled well..as has Jo Hawke. Wickets spread around..one comical run out.
