Murray/ Williams
Those two are going to be knackered keep walking the length of the court after every shot to touch each other's hands, there isn't even any sincerity about it,do they get prize money for partaking in this farce?

I wonder how the tickets work with that, as they were supposed to be on yesterday.

Re: Murray/ Williams
Tickets for Centre Court and Court One are sold for the day, not the matches. Sometimes they'll let Centre Court or Court One ticket holders into the other stadium at the end of a days play if there's an abundance of available seating.FactualFrank wrote:I wonder how the tickets work with that, as they were supposed to be on yesterday.

Every doubles partnership does that. It's so that there's consistency to make sure no one's thinking that the other one is mad at them, which can be a distraction.Steve1956 wrote:They even touch hands when Murray drops a bollock and plays a shite shot,WTF?

At a guess he is probably 3 behind Murray and that is without ever entering one in his whole life, he is though a long way off the top level but then so is Murray.

I could believe a doubles pairing with 42 grand slam singles finals. 26 grand slam singles championships. 18 grand slam doubles finals. 16 grand slam doubles championships. 3 Olympic singles gold medals, 3 Olympic doubles gold medals. 1 Olympic doubles silver medal.
Or I could believe some people on a football forum, that a forgive and forget attitude in doubles, demonstrated with a symbolic high-five after each point, isn't important.
It's a close one but i'm going to go with Murray and Williams, I think.

Perhaps the worst thing is having to hear people referring to them as "Murrena".
I could have tolerated "Andy Williams" but not that.

We should be pleased that Wimbledon has been considerably uplifted by the presence of Andy Murray.
Being in an all star doubles is a massive bonus.
Hope they win it.
