The Selomar, north bay, breakfasts to die for and great sea view, I stay there for cricket most years.

Cheers alargeclaret. I looked at the map on trip advisor and wasnt sure if there was a direct route without walking round the coast. my other half dodgy on her pins at the moment.

Not a B&B - but we enjoyed our stay at Harbourside Apartments (self-catering) last year:

Re: b and b scarborough
just back from a night at the Selomar. Ken and Irene were a great couple. Hotel centrally positioned for a 15 minute walk to either south or north scarborough. When we booked it was a back bedroom for £75 but when we got there they put us in a family room (room 4) with amazing views. So much so we didnt even shut the curtains. Been on booking.com and that room with 2 kids staying in room as well is £110. We got back to hotel early last night and were sitting in the lounge when Irene hobbled in (she had broken her knee) and she brought us some freshly made complimentary sandwiches. will certainly be back when we go to Scarborough again.

I hope she had the curtains shut when she broke her knee. Sounds like a keys in the middle type establishment.claretnproud wrote:just back from a night at the Selomar. Re: b and b scarborough
Unusual thread. Normally it would be “can anyone recommend a B&B in Scarbrough” / “go to New York instead”

It’s a good thread when some asks for help/advice and gets it.
