Match tickets

Post by RammyClaret61 » Tue Jul 09, 2019 5:55 am

Anyone know when match tickets go on sale? I emailed the club a few weeks ago, the reply stated Liverpool tickets would be on sale 6th July. But this doesn’t seem to be the case. UTC.

Go on the club website, should have all the information on there.

The club's website states that matchday tickets will go on sale in due course. I think they are awaiting the new teamcards before they can put them on sale.

My last comment of support to the OP got deleted, so thought I'd write what I should have said.

I'm sure theres a reasonable explanation to why that isn't the case, and it'll get sorted in due course.

I see, so that's the threshold at which posts/comments get deleted.

I'm still waiting to find out what the club are doing with the new home seats available in the CF?

They haven't been made available to ST holders.

On sale 10th July if you've purchased match tickets before, otherwise it will be 23rd August.

Putting the home friendlies on the new ST cards would have been a good test, worrying that they don't appear to have the confidence to do that.

I’m pretty sure the club, or the card manufacturers, will have tested that tickets can be loaded onto the cards before sending them out. Hardly worrying.

I was told they were doing that. If they aren’t it’s probably only because the cards won’t arrive on time.

You mean like they did last time new cards were issued?

Its not the lack of confidence Doug... I was in this morning and I think its time constraints... if the new cards aren't going out till the 20th+ there isn't time to sort it, so paper tickets it will be.

Website is showing August games will be on sale week commencing 17th July but they are on sale today.

They’ll get something right one day.

They announced yesterday that the Southampton & Liverpool tickets would be on sale from today (see Post 9) and the main story on the club's website reads: "the first round of our Premier League home games are now on sale".

New home seats in the CF stand not available to buy (at least online) for STs or matchday. Strange.

They did but like the season tickets they seem incapable of putting the correct information out in all formats.

I ordered Tickets for Nice & Parma on Wednesday evening and they popped through my Letterbox about 5 minutes ago :D :D :D ....

Surely people can see that the new 'Season Cards' with people demanding moves etc (plus the changes to Corner & Cricket Field stands) cannot be sent out until mid to late July.....

Yes its not ideal but with possibly 14,000+ Season Cards to sort out.... its got to be done later rather than sooner.

14k or more season holders will provide a decent platform, however, you would think that a prem team would be able to achieve nearer the 20k demand for home STs. (Yes I know don't have that many home seats. Demand not supply)

We have approximately 19,400 home seats of which a minimum 5% must be retained for non season ticket sales so the maximum season ticket holders we could have is 18,430.
