One we can surely all agree on
I've been frequently accused of starting threads simply to argue, so recently i've posted a couple of thread expecting to see widespread agreement, extremist abortion laws, concentration camps, and yet still people objected to my point of view, but this time i think I've finally found something we can all agree on: President Duterte is a c**t.

I'm not sure you understand what click bait is if you think this is click bait.
Either that or you're a fan of Duerte

To be fair, I thought this could’ve been about a signing.

I am knocking on a bit but a quick google gave me this
“content whose main purpose is to attract attention and encourage visitors to click on a link to a particular web page.”
Which seems to fit. I had never heard of Duerte until I clicked his link.

I would normally associate it with something that says one thing in the the title but then the body of information is different.Guller Bull wrote:I am knocking on a bit but a quick google gave me this

I suppose the whole point of a forum is for views so everything on here is click bait.

Just from what I have seen of the op, he specialises in non football threads (which is not a problem to me) controversy which sparks endless political pointless points scoring. It just feels a little bit needy.

I was on my phone so I didn’t see the OP. If I had, I would’ve known there was a chance it wasn’t going to be football related. As it happens, I clicked on the link. Unbelievable! How some people value human life is shocking.

How dare you court controversy by highlighting the actions of a heartless, uncaring animal for whom the ending of human life is all in a days work? Don't you realise he is 'just carrying out orders'? This is just typical of your.....Imploding Turtle wrote:I've been frequently accused of starting threads simply to argue, so recently i've posted a couple of thread expecting to see widespread agreement, extremist abortion laws, concentration camps, and yet still people objected to my point of view, but this time i think I've finally found something we can all agree on: President Duterte is a c**t.

Okay bud you've nailed this one, I find it hard to imagine any decent thinking human being arguing with this. The irony in this story I suppose is that if the estimate of 27k is right then this scrote is probably responsible for more deaths than the drugs are. That, if true, would make it all the more pointless and stupid.

Re: One we can surely all agree on
I have long believed to a degree that many conflicts are just an excuse for a human cull. The first world war being a case in point. Millions died pointlessly after being told/ordered to walk into machine gun fire, so many others succumbing to disease in the rotten trenches. Millions upon countless millions dead over the centuries because a handful of politicians/monarchs couldn't agree on on something. Governments, ours included, lying to justify sending innocent people to fight their wars. When will the people of this country, any country, eventually turn to their lying disgraceful politicians and say 'So you want a war? You go and bloody fight it then.'Imploding Turtle wrote:Almost as if it's not really about the drugs.
I suppose though that the irony of all this is if it hadn't been for the two world wars in particular and all the subsequent deaths, considering not just those killed but all the children, grandchildren and great grandchildren they DIDN'T have we would now be suffering from a massive over-population problem apparently.
Talk about a rock and a hard place.
