Please note the prices quoted are for each game - there is no buy one get one free option this year

FAO CT:

I made a minor error saying it was an U16 not U18 price bracket, the point of the post was to state the unnecessary price rise.

Had a perfectly good offer last year on one price for both friendlies, annoying they have discontinued it.

Think it’s cheeky asking season ticket holders of a club reporting £36m profit to pay to watch them practice. They could take the hit and write it off in the tax payments.

I wonder if the extra cost is to cover policing after the Hannover fiasco?

Just easier to lock that thread so it was clear but you are right in what you say. It will, as it happens, cost me the same this year as a pensioner. Last year it was £10 for the two and this year it is £5 each. But adults pay more and those between 18 and 22 certainly do.

They want you to pay early so they get a good idea of numbers to allocate staff.

I presume they kept the prices low last year as fans were paying for Europa League fixtures as well.

Somewhat understand this, but then again we really don’t need the few extra quid from friendly tickets, like theroyaldyche said, charge a fiver and get thousands on

The club won't make any money on friendlies as you still have to pay stewards etc.

They still have to run it as a business or the money will soon drip away.

Anyone had any difficulties buying their own seat online?

Don't really see the point in opening every area of the ground for these. Complete waste of money on stewards/catering staff.

I've checked with the club and there is an U22 ticket priced at £5 inadvance but £10 on the day.

On the other hand, you could argue that it would be a bit cheeky to ask season ticket holders who don't want to watch the friendlies, to use part of their income to subsidies those who don't.

Here's how I look at it. Those who think it's worth a tenner, pay the tenner and watch. Those who think it's not worth a tenner, don't pay and don't watch. Simples!

I would be one of those season ticket holders, I'm off on holiday for those dates :-)

Just a reminder that ticket prices for the Nice game go up by £5 after 3pm on Tuesday, except for U18's these remain at £5.

And if you can't get down to the Ticket Office before 3pm you can order them online before then.

Everton have just written to every fan that went to every away game last season - they are giving them a free ticket to an away game of their choice this season as thank you
