FAO ClaretTony

Post by No Ney Never » Wed Jul 10, 2019 7:58 pm

Not sure if anyone has asked this before, is it possible to have a facility that allows me to bookmark a post on a thread?
Reason I'm asking, it would make it easier to pick up where I left off on a thread that has had many posts added since I last read it.
Thanks in advance, and many thanks for creating Up The Clarets along with all the team who assist you to make it what it is.
NNN.

If the script lines, left of the thread title, are red a new post has been made. If you click them they take you to the last post you read or posted. If they are grey you are up to date.

Or you can go into a thread and if it has been updated since you last viewed you can click on First Unread Post at the top.

Clearly I never knew or noticed. That's spot on, thanks for replying.

Not tried but does the 'subscribe to topic' not send an email out? There is also the 'bookmark topic' but not sure if that facility is turned on for the board.

You can bookmark a thread and then find it easier by going into User Control Panel. In theory, you should receive an email every time that thread is updated but the emails are still not going out.
