Good innings but ridiculous review. When he immediately reviewed I just assumed that he must have hit it, but he was nowhere near.
Roy should have told him it was taking out middle stump. Hope we don't need that review later.

Reviews are mean't to be there to avoid bad errors by the umpire. If its umpire's call you retain your review, but if it's a frivolous review as Bairstow's was then you correctly get punished for it. On this occasion it's Roy who has paid the penalty for Bairstow's selfishness and inappropriate use of the review system.
We don't want the game stopping every other over for some kind of review.

The problem is some players are more likely to walk than others. It seems that being from Yorkshire can give you a bit of the Boycotts about you.
Don’t want to be too harsh because he has been superb in the last 3 games particularly but his spat with Vaughan gives you some clue to his mindset
