England really need a wicket here. Really good recovery from Smith and Carey. Anything over 200 will be a challenge.

Looks a 320 minimum pitch to me with how easy these are playing. Just get yourself in.

Aussies are always like a bad smell that you can’t get rid of. You always have to be at your very best to beat them.

It was great to get the left hander out. Our bowlers were struggling with the switching lines they had to bowl.

Get Rashid off when you look at the runs before the quick two wickets it was looking bad

Need Smith out ASAP,he is a nuisance,Maxwell's got a start as well,he hasn't fired in this tournament yet be bloody typical if today was the day.

142-5 32 overs drinks, wouldn't fancy chasing much over 230 so we need to bowl them out ideally,if they bat the 50 overs they're probably looking at 250 minimum.

It seems to be spinning so Lyon could play a big part in England's innings, that bowl to dismiss Stonis spun massively.

Daft shot from Carey the Aussies where going along nicely.

Unfortunate with the Smith review but we could have done with these two not putting on a 50 partnership

We are chasing 224 to win.

I’d have taken that at 10:30 this morning.

Well bowled England.

224 all out, an excellent bowling and fielding performance from England. Here's hoping for a good, solid, positive start from our openers. It won't be easy, it never is against the Aussies.

Here's hoping we can do it with the bat.

Really looking forward to Archer bowling in the Ashes.

Given us a great chance. Fantastic bowling, great fielding and now the ball is in our court. It is rarely straightforward against the Aussies.

That run out was unreal. Don’t think I’ve seen one through the batsman’s legs before...

There is no doubt that fielding has really got better than ever in recent years. Most likely because of all the 20/20 played these days. The ones on the boundary are so often stopped now. The likes of Bairstow is particularly good on the ropes.

224 isn't a huge target but keeping wickets intact is the key,we don't have to go hell for leather in the first 10,just keep the scoreboard ticking, and not play any silly shots,Smith has shown that you can build a score on this wicket, now our top order have to do the same.

England messed up a similar chase against Sri Lanka,so it's certainly not time to count any chickens just yet.

Archer gives England an x factor we've been missing since Harmison retired, you feel something's going to happen when he gets the ball in his hands.

Fabulous death bowling by Woakes again, and a great spell by Rashid,he came to the party when it mattered most.

Unusual to have two lefty fast bowlers opening. Not sure I’ve seen that before this Aussie team.

If we get to 10 overs without losing a wicket we should be fine. Good steady start so far.
