Happy Birthday Big Ben
160 years young today, plenty of restoration work still to complete arguably the world's most famous clock though.

Big Ben may be just the Great Bell inside the tower but to 99% of the world the whole tower is known as Big Ben. It is just a question of semantics, pedantism v general usage. To say different is like saying my hoover is not a hoover because it was made by a different company!

An iconic tower.
Happy Birthday!
Certainly wouldn't want to hoover the stairs right up to the top though.

Buxton, there are 334 steps up to the top of the 315 foot high tower. The clock dials are 23 feet across, whilst the minute hands are 14 foot long and the hour hands 9 foot long. Not a lot of people know that.

Thought this might have been about Tommy Robinson's new cell mate....though it's more likely to be Big Baba.
