If that’s the other umpire he gives it out and the decision is out. That’s how close that was as the other umpire doesn’t seem to give us much.

That kinda makes up for him being given out against the Aussies.
Though doubt the Kiwi's like it.

Not really. He was nowhere near out against the Aussies and that was 50/50

It’s Lord’s, a bit like Wembley in that they don’t rush back. If this was Edgbaston, Old Trafford or Headingley you probably wouldn’t see an empty seat.

Any umpires on here can tell me why you can’t be lbw if it pitches outside leg?
It's been in as long as I know but never understood why.

This could be tight if the NZ bowlers keep it in the right areas. Ball doing a bit.

Always liked runs on the board in a cup final.

Bookies have England at a very short price.

Good to see Roy walking. Appreciate he got a thicker edge but he just walked past the guy saying they were still checking it. Williamson take note.....

Them silly runs late on could be crucial.

I'd still back us as we bat very deep, and if its 100/3 or less we should have enough.

Wouldn’t be too concerned with the run rate just yet. We have to get through this period without losing more wickets.

Two awful shots from Root, the second gets him out. Frustration and score board pressure. It's going to be very nervy.

Oh dear, we needed him to be there at over 30, he is the glue.

If ever we needed a captain's innings, it is now.

Someone needs to win this match.

Edit - is the commentator listening to me?

This could be difficult, I don't think these England players play well under pressure. Come on lads prove me wrong.

We needed Root to bat like Root. Just didn’t understand what he was trying to do but my fears that 240 would make it tough is now looking so.

He got completely bogged down and impatient. There’s plenty of time and it ramps up the pressure now.
