Tom Heaton did when we first signed for us but he soon thought better of it and moved awayrandomclaret2 wrote:Do many of our players live in Burnley ?
Could there be mileage in a 9m deal for him to join next season when Bardsley will have left?Steddyman wrote:No happening according to Boden.
‘ Little snippet from Belgium, Burnley linked with Genk pair at the weekend, but Atalanta have signed midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi for a reported €13.7m, and while there is interest in Joakim Mæhle, the club want to keep him at least another season ahead of Champions League’
Doubt it boden said they want around 20 m for himZizkovClaret wrote:Could there be mileage in a 9m deal for him to join next season when Bardsley will have left?
I knew nothing about that one, it is something that just came from Nixon initially when he also reported we were in for Malinovskyi when he was already having his medical at Atalanta. Malinovskyi was the one I had the article written for that I said a week or so ago that I didn't expect to use, the ship had sailed long before he went to Atalanta.jedi_master wrote:What about Maehle? Nothing been said on this despite Nixon saying we have offered £7m.
Not quite true tony, it was reported in the sun on Sunday morning, he didn't arrive in Italy for his medical later that day. I know people don't like Nixon, but it would appear he was right about our interest, just a little too late.ClaretTony wrote:I knew nothing about that one, it is something that just came from Nixon initially when he also reported we were in for Malinovskyi when he was already having his medical at Atalanta. Or a buy now, loan back for a season. I know it's not the Burnley way, but it depends how much BFC want himZizkovClaret wrote:Could there be mileage in a 9m deal for him to join next season when Bardsley will have left?
It was reported last Friday that he was going to Atalanta by the Belgian media but I knew a week earlier that we weren’t getting him. Nixon would have been right a couple of weeks earlier but the ship had long sailed.Grumps wrote:Not quite true tony, it was reported in the sun on Sunday morning, he didn't arrive in Italy for his medical later that day.
