Is there any method to remove the sponsor after I've bought a shirt?
Or will it leave a shadow?
I can't stand the gambling sponsor shirts and won't buy one, but the idea of blue and green 2nd and 3rd kits appeals to me.

Towel over the sponsor, put an iron over it on full whack and it should melt it off. Might have glue residue left though.

That’s not a local sponsor. It’s Garlick’s company which is London based.
Re: Is there any method to remove the sponsor after I've bought a shirt?
Why is there a different sponsor for the ladies shirt?
For obvious reasons I understand why no sponsors name on kids shirts

You can’t buy that shirt - it’s the playing kit for the women’s team.Tricky Trevor wrote:I’ve mentioned on another thread buy the ladies shirt, local sponsor and it looks as though it could come off.

All depends on your size, but If you know, or can get hold of one of the youth team lads shirts who cant have the sponsor on you've cracked it.
Sometimes towards the end of the season there seems to a few sponsor-less shirts about, not sure if we order blank ones for behind closed doors games etc.
They've even ruined the smart training tops too with the crappy sponsor. They used to be sponsor free about3 years ago.

I do like the collar and simple design on that Ladies shirt, surely if we contact the women's team we can get one.Tricky Trevor wrote:I’ve mentioned on another thread buy the ladies shirt, local sponsor and it looks as though it could come off.

It’s exactly the same design with a different sponsor isn’t it?South West Claret. wrote:I do like the collar and simple design on that Ladies shirt, surely if we contact the women's team we can get one.
I would expect the ladies shirt to have a different fit as well, but fill your boots.

Obviously but I'm not paying £45 for the mens shirt and if the womens is the same price I won't buy theirs either.Rileybobs wrote:It’s exactly the same design with a different sponsor isn’t it?

So a shirt which is designed with sleeves and a chest fitting and a cut that compliments a female figure ....... isn’t a problem?South West Claret. wrote:Not if I'm playing in it it's not.

He might have a similar or maybe even a bigger chest that some of the female players/fans....bfccrazy wrote:So a shirt which is designed with sleeves and a chest fitting and a cut that compliments a female figure ....... isn’t a problem?
Also some people do like to experiment in the comfort if their own home, I certainly dont judge.
If people want to wear "womens" labelled clothing, leave them to it.

Correct, some of you lot obviously don't get as hot as I do so the more room/air circulation in a shirt the better as far as I'm concerned.bfccrazy wrote:So a shirt which is designed with sleeves and a chest fitting and a cut that compliments a female figure ....... isn’t a problem?
It's comfort and performance first so bugger what it looks like.

I’m not sure you’d get more room wearing a women’s shirt to be honest.South West Claret. wrote:Correct, some of you lot obviously don't get as hot as I do so the more room/air circulation in a shirt the better as far as I'm concerned.

Sponsors exist for one reason only. And sadly, betting companies pay way more than anyone else.

Are you thick or what? If you’re playing football in a shirt that’s got more room inside it stands to reason that the increased air flow is going keep you cooler than not .. got it now DimmoRileybobs wrote:I’m not sure you’d get more room wearing a women’s shirt to be honest.

Re: Is there any method to remove the sponsor after I've bought a shirt?
I must be thick because women’s football kits will be a tighter fit than men’s football kits. Ergo less room and reduced air flow. So you’re going to have to explain it better to this dimmo.South West Claret. wrote:Are you thick or what? So a women’s shirt which is by design a tighter fit than the men’s but just a different cut in certain areas... will give you more room?South West Claret. wrote:Are you thick or what? Again, you do know that women’s football shirts are TIGHTER fitting than mens shirts around the waist and also the arms and neck etc.....South West Claret. wrote:Correct, some of you lot obviously don't get as hot as I do so the more room/air circulation in a shirt the better as far as I'm concerned.

So you just want a bit more breast room and a tighter fit everywhere else?
I also must tell my missus as she prefers a baggier fit football shirt so would rather me get her the men’s shirt in a size that fits her than the women’s shirt.

We have just stated using a new washing machine and this has 'erased' the ,sponsor names from some of my older Burnley shirts. I suspects washing temperature is the clue here.

The logo on last season's Black one is peeling off on it's own, give it time and it will eventually fall off of it's own accord.
