Re: Man on the Moon..
All the questions conspiracy theorists have about the moon landings have been answered.
I'm losing IQ points reading the nonsense on here.
It's mostly clearly trolling though, I hope.

Bloke at work reckoned it was all shot over Crown Point, not far from the Bull and Butcher pub...he generally knew his stuff to be fair.
He also told me that Marie Osmond liked it"" through the back door""...that Michael Aspel was partial to a bit of "" uphill gardening"" and John Noakes was a bugger for his marching powder.
Many a stranger thing etc....jury's out I reckon.

Ahhh so they went uncover to film a bit of dogging up there and it turn out to look like a moon landing.

All three blokes from the Apollo 11 spaceflight are still knocking about - Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins..the Apollo Lunar Module Eagle
landed on 20th July 1969 at 20.17 UTC and Armstrong and Aldrin walked on the Moon 6 hours 39 minutes late. Collins flew the Command Module Columbia alone in lunar orbit while the other two were on the moon's surface.

Your problem is you're going into the discussion with the preconceived idea that it's fake. You're not looking at the evidence objectively, and because of that you see every piece of evidence that debunks your conspiracy theory as further evidence that the conspiracy is even deeper. You're not credible.

Re: Man on the Moon..
It’s the astronauts that persuade me it really took place. Armstrong, Collins and Aldrin were incredible men before they joined NASA. They were made of grit, brave as hell and truly brave. Not the sort of men who would go along with a fake moon landing.

At that age, you're allowed to be like that. Your faculties haven't fully formed and you're instinctively inclined to kick against anything, no matter what, that your elders say. It makes sense why she's think that. She's grown up in a world with instagram filters making everyone look less ugly than they really are, so it makes sense for her to instinctively think that it'd be easy to fake moon landings. Everything else is already fake.

I remember vaguely as a child the moon landings. It inspired you to look beyond what was taken as normal and look out to space. Nearly everyone had access to a telescope via an older sibling or an older siblings friend. Such science should be embraced curiosity in children should be nurtured. To say such things are faked or worthless just makes you sad and dull.

As I only recently discovered - wrong word, as we all 'know' but just never consider it:hampsteadclaret wrote:,,, 50 years ago tomorrow two men first walked on the Moon...
That moon landing in July 69 came less than sixty six years after the first powered flight by the Wright brothers at Kittihawke, in December 1903, so we went from 120' @ 10mph to flying the moon in less than a lifetime, that's some progress.
When the Wright brothers wanted to try to make a flight they ran a flag up a pole and the students from a nearby lifeguard training school on seeing it jogged down the beach to help them haul the plane up its timber-skid ramp to the top of the sand dunes from where it got a downhill run to accelerate for take-off; one of those students was actually at Cape Kennedy and witnessed the Apollo 11 launch too.

It never happened m8 its fake news.
My dad in 1969 was watching news stories about the first moon landing on the TV, and went on about stories he read as a boy about spacemen etc, in the 1920's and how they laughed at it, saying it would never happen....
From the Wright Brothers in 1903 to Frank Whittle and the Jet engine 1930's to Rockets in the 50's to Moon landings in the late 60's early 70's.
