So has the Club and SD offered JH a new contract ?

The way we operate we wouldnt know I wouldnt think until it was accepted. If he wasnt considering staying I would have guessed we would have seen him being linked to other clubs. His agent would have been fishing for a move and made sure the world and his dog he would be available. I only have to look at players like Pope, Lowton, Barnes when they signed contracts and it was like "oh didnt know we had offered them anything" meanjng we dont put these things out there for all and sundry to know our business

Well they have and heard it several times - i agree that we do need something to move up a slight level.

As DCW says, it can't just be any old investment, the investors need to be the right ones for the club.

And I've heard that the board are definitely open to the idea of outside investment and have, in fact, been actively looking for it.

Where have you heard this? It’s also worth remembering that even if we had received offers of investment, that those offering may not have been deemed to be suitable.

There are plenty of owners or otherwise, past and present at other clubs, that we’d do very well to avoid.

Dont know who the investers were but know that we didnt want it - this was over a year ago by the way
