Didn't expect Pope to feature after playing 90 minutes on Saturday and Defour is obviously injured.

Just noticed no Brady either

The “Port Vale” team played the full 90 on Saturday which could be a reason

Hope nothing in Gibson being missing. Few rumour sites linking him to Newcastle and Leeds

Oh goodie! Another ‘in the know’ poster.

My word, this board is full of people with insider knowledge us mere mortals could only dream of.

You should post that on the transfer news thread. It’s running a little dry at the minute.

Hearing it's a loan.

Gibson had his left ankle in one of those insulation cryo thingies (technical term) with his feet up watching The Open on Sunday on his Instagram story. Nothing to worry about.

That would make more sense than selling, assuming we have decent cover of course. Perhaps Jimmy Dunne?

Not sure - Cahill was odds on to be rejoining us earlier today.

That's because the bookies are expecting us to sell Tarkowski.

Burnley: Heaton, Lowton, Tarkowski, Long, Taylor, Lennon, Westwood, Hendrick, Koiki, Rodriguez, Vydra. This is the team in the LET

Subs: Hart, Legzdins, Cork, Gudmundsson, Wood, Barnes, McNeil, Pieters, Bardsley, Harker, Glennon, Dunne, Benson
Anyone post the truth?

By shipping out our joint record signing without even giving him a proper chance ? If he does end up going on loan he wont be coming back

Loaning Gibson out would make no sense whatsoever, particularly if it were to another Premier league club. We'd be strengthening a rival and not getting anything in return. And I'd be surprised if Leeds could cover his wage.

Any second half lineup? Long and Hart only players to not be changed.

That would mean ,
Hart
Bardsley Long Dunne Pieters
Gudmundsson Cork Benson McNeil
Barnes Wood

Dyche said in his interviews there were players that needed more minutes than others and that some would be rested for tonight. Don't worry about Gibson, more interesting that Tarks is captain

Can I just say it's nice to read a football thread that isn't full of "x is on your ignore list". A thread with decent folk on.

How many games has Wood scored in a row now? 4?

Pleasing to hear as I was a bit concerned with his performance at Crewe bit didn't want to right the lad off after seeing one game.

The thing about these games is fitness and avoiding injury.
