Jared O'Mara
Jared O'Mara
Apologies for another politics thread but this one is pretty entertaining. It looks like his head of comms may not be a fan of him

Re: Jared O'Mara
My MP.
In a fashion. Thanks Corbynistas. They parachuted in a hard left candidate when the 2017 Labour guy had to withdraw.
Ironically, arguably the most educated constituency in the country, about 70% degree educated or above. Not sure Jared is representative.

Or he was, and judging by this resignation letter he still is.

He sounds like a cockwomble, granted, but what has provoked this from his comms guy all of a sudden?Imploding Turtle wrote:He's a ****

He's probably a **** too. ***** of a feather.
Re: Jared O'Mara
If you read the comms guy's twitter, it becomes a bit clearer. Allegedly, an alcoholic, drug user who apparently blamed his antics on his team.duncandisorderly wrote:He sounds like a cockwomble, granted, but what has provoked this from his comms guy all of a sudden?
Probably a case of the straw breaking the camel's back.

Even by your standards of ignorance that is top quality.Imploding Turtle wrote:Lol. Found a way to blame Corbyn already. Classic, Crosspool.
I know hundreds of people in the constituency, including many who know Jared very well, and I know exactly how he came to be our nominee. Whereas whilst I suspect you would fit right in at Hallam, I also suspect you know little about the place.
As an aside I actually praised Corbyn in an earlier thread, elements of what he stands for anyway.

Your constituency still voted for him. It's your constituency's fault you have him.CrosspoolClarets wrote:Even by your standards of ignorance that is top quality.

And if you're a fan of FPTP then it's partly your fault too since most of you voted for someone else.

Re: Jared O'Mara
The comms guys twitter feed is seemingly a means to a published end, (he's doing 'quite a lot of tv etc', and a journalist is on his way to his house) and he even goes so far as to insult Piers Morgan, which, to be fair, is probably easily done, but Piers Morgan has lawyers and the means by which to punish...so why?
Who really cares enough about Jared O'Mara for Gareth Arnold to even matter?
I'd never heard of either before tonight and I'll forget them both by tomorrow.

He's now saying he's going to resign after the recess. If so, Sheffield Hallam will most likely go back to being a Lib Dem seat.

Can't believe he didn't want to do Sarah ....He commented about the Girls Aloud pop group: "I advise you to sack Sarah and the remaining four members (Nicola, Cheryl, Nadine and Kimberley) come have an orgy with me"

Re: Jared O'Mara
In this day and age it's of no great surprise that he actually got voted in by his constituents.
