New seats for sale in blocks in Cricket Field Stand
New seats for sale in blocks in Cricket Field Stand
New seats on sale now in the CFS according to BFC website
(Copied from BFC website)
Over the summer the Ladbrokes Stand at Turf Moor has been through a refurbishment project replacing the wooden seats in the away section with plastic seating. This project has created an extra two blocks (Blocks 13 & 21) in the home end of this stand next to the segregation line that will soon be available, exclusively for 2019/2020 season ticket holders from the Ladbrokes Stand, to move into if they wish.
From Monday 29th July until Wednesday 7th August, 2019/2020 Ladbrokes Stand season ticket holders will be able to contact the ticket office and choose their new seats in these blocks if they wish to transfer.
This process can only be done in person at the ticket office or by calling 01282 446800. If you move you will be required to hand in your current seasoncard which will be replaced by a new one for your new seat. If you are moving seats as a group, the ticket office will require the Clarets numbers for all members of the group.
Please note: If you move to the new section you will not have the option to move back to your old seats as these will be made available for general sale. It is also a requirement for the club to offer 15% of seats in the Ladbrokes Stand to visiting clubs for cup ties, which may result in you not being able to purchase 'your seats' for cup matches at Turf Moor, if seated in these new blocks.

You forgot to copy the last sentence, the one where it mentions that you won't be admitted to those seats unless you are wearing 'Stone Island' clothing!

Get the su closer to the away fans
Re: New seats for sale in blocks in Cricket Field Stand
If it's still the same I don't understand why they left that extra segregation barrier in.

Do you have to jump over the barrier to get to your seats?
Re: New seats for sale in blocks in Cricket Field Stand
Probably be a gate, and the steward/police line will move accordingly.

One little gate for 200 fans could be time consuming.MACCA wrote:Probably be a gate, and the steward/police line will move accordingly.
There is a gate at the bottom but the club aren't selling them seats yet.

It'll be good to see at least some Burnley fans behind the goal going mental when the ball goes in. I think the camera will pick up a few of those sat in block 5.

Wonder if they will leave block 5 exclusively for non season ticket holders, so a game by game basis?

Re: New seats for sale in blocks in Cricket Field Stand
Been trying to ring the club about switching seats for a better view. OP took text off official website which stated the following .....
"This process can only be done in person at the ticket office or by calling 01282 446800"
As I can't get anyone to answer the phone, I looked at the official website again to check whether there's a time indicated, after 9.30 for example.
Whilst doing this I noticed the Official site now states.....
"This process must be done in person at the ticket office".
No reference to now about calling 01282 446800. I live near Durham, so popping to Turf Moor isnt an option.
Has anyone transferred today, and has anyone done it over the phone?

Re: New seats for sale in blocks in Cricket Field Stand
Phone lines are no good this morning, and the seats I wanted to change into have gone already - I've been phoning since 9am too. I e-mailed the office and they have told me that I have to pop down to change the seats, for me its a 400 mile trip to pop down. I'm sure I'll get it sorted eventually, but I am a little disappointed that I had been in touch with the ticket office about this issue since the new seats were announced as I have wanted to buy an additional season ticket - moving seats would have been the only option to get all my tickets together, now I'm not sure that I want to buy an additional ticket and to stay where I am - the additional one (u18) would only be used for about half the games anyway.Barry_Chuckle wrote:Been trying to ring the club about switching seats for a better view. Rick, I kept at it and had my call answered eventually. I spoke with a young lad who confirmed to me that I would have to call in person. I explained the mixed message put out on the official website, and the fact I lived a distance away so attendance in person was not an option. He went off and spoke to someone, came back, and sorted my swap to block 13.
Fair play to them for sorting it out for me, but why the mixed messages and whats wrong with conducting a transaction with BFC over the phone in 2019?
Give them a call and explain where you live.

We are end of a row in the JHU very handy for the gents facilities ... can't beat it (except for the constant stream of latecomers and then 10 minutes later they need a wee due to the extra pint they consumed making them latecomers... so its up and down like a brides nightie )Rick_Muller wrote:Yeah, all sorted now too mate, I’m in block 13 now too, next to the aisle which is good.

This is a really frustrating thing about the ticket office and sometimes how some aspects of the club is run. Whether it was a staff member who couldn't be bothered to help or the official policy but it is just bizarre that myself and others have managed to do it over the phone and then they tell you this is untrue.alboclaret wrote:Mybloodisclaret .....did you have any success.??

Re: New seats for sale in blocks in Cricket Field Stand
I contacted the ticket office by email just now about N126, got a reply 5 minutes later telling me it hadn't been let go by it's current owner. All very polite and efficient. I can honestly say I have never had any real problem with the ticket office staff in all the 50+ years I have been dealing with them.
