Played well overall.

Headingly doesn't produce pitches where you can just throw the bat at it, but it plays well enough if you play each ball on it's merit.

The best bit of that game was when John McGinley claimed LB for one that pitched 6 inches outside leg stump and got a massive bottom edge, what a roaster.

Excellent away win. I thought maybe we should've got 10-15 more runs after the start we had but it proved to be enough.
Mahmood & Faulkner are a good pair to have bowling at the end and Parky is usually good value in the middle overs. Worcs next at OT tomorrow, another good one to win.

Just got home from my visit into their members lounge.

Their members do not like to lose especially when they have Red Rose members in their midst telling them that they have a sub standard ground that should not hold Test cricket and that they are continuing to unsuccessfully buy a trophy.

The place emptied with two overs to go.

Next stop the Emirates Old Trafford tomorrow tea time. A proper ground and a team that is full of confidence and may manage 20 overs with the same ball.

It'll be a difficult one if Lancs reach the semis of the T20s. Finals day is in Birmingham on the same day as Burnley play Norwich at home.
