I've heard there's a decent one in Preston, if you live locally.

Bibis is decent but a touch small and dont deliver.

I'd also like to know the best about.

I tried the king one at Tulsi and the biggest 1 at Bombay hut, first time was good, 2nd try was poor.

I've had people say the specisl pizza box ones at balti king are good but was just ok too.

Dont even say Turkish best to me, been twice, both times got my order wrong and was like warm.

I saw this on FB, but always sceptical of Duke bar eateries, people have said podrinos and oasis do nice big chicken boxes.
I'm other side of town so dont get menues delivered from those places

Turkish Best.

Also, the mixed kebab sandwich from Tara in the 'grove.

All others are rancid. Kebab `meat` is at it's best when it's sizzling straight off the spit, and absolutely shite when it's been steaming in a storage pot for an hour and gone all soggy.

They all get the kebab meats from the same place it's just a matter of the ratio between meat bread and salad that picks the best one out.

Has there been an ‘anti’ shout for bibis yet?

If not, I’ll be the first.

Awful.

Not that I've had many, but kebabs stopped being good when Follies in Nelson changed owner and then shut.

That's probably 25 years ago though. :D

I’ve had once immense kebab and ordered the same the next night as it was that good... I’d never go back!

I’ve always liked a mixed kebab from Tara, chilli & garlic mayo but I don’t like anywhere near anymore and have yet to find one near me.

Haha yesss, me and the mrs went recently and had one and loved them, also had a few in Moscow at the World Cup, best I’d ever had... granted I’d been drinking continuously for 2-3 days

if you peep down the back streets of these hideous places, i rather doubt your appetite for kebabs will be quite so strong.

The mixed kebab on naan from Eastern Delight up t'Syke are usually ok (especially when you've had a shandy or 2)

Strange shout this is but my favourite kebab in Burnley (And I’ve had a few) is the mixed kebab from Freddys (what was Dixys) on Church St - next to The Talbot.

If you don’t mind a bit of travel then a kobeda from Charcoal Grill or Al Quds on/next to Whaley Range in B’burn will take some beating.

Best kebabs I ever had were in Berlin - ironically the worst I’ve had have been in Turkey.

Berlin is generally brilliant for all kinds of street food. An all round brilliant city. One of the very best imo. I love it!

Athens last year was great for kebabs in restaurants.

Around here Hawali in Padiham is great kebab meat although they have a strange way of putting the actual Kebab together.

Fakeaway lamb kebab - better than anything from a takeaway and probably a lot healthier too.

Last time I worked in Burnley, i had a kebab from Turkish best. It was shocking. I'm fairly sure the naan breads are the rubbish things you buy from asda

Tried Kebab Lab tonight based on recommendations above. Ordered via deliveroo...half price! So far so good. Food arrived at specified time and looked good! That’s the first and last time I will order from there. Food absolutely soaked in barbecue lighting fluid. I feel sick and the food my wife and I ordered is in the bin.

I’ll travel all over for a good bit of food (I especially like random grotty little take aways that are recommended for a specific speciality). I was buzzing about Kebab Lab and when I saw the pictures on fb etc of the HUGEEEEE kebab they do.

Up there with one of the worst things I’ve ever had from a take away. The Kobeda was floppy as if it’d been left to stay warm inwater rather than fresh - the chicken shawarma was just bland and tasted like cardboard - lamb shwarama was alright - salad was going stale and the chips were all soggy and horrid. The chops were alright but tiny. The naan bread was decent though apart from bits of it still being a bit doughy (I’m guessing because of the size of it).

I bought a large Donner from Rimas last night but didn't eat it.
I had it this morning for breakfast, very tasty too even after microwaving it.
