I phoned Radio Lancashire today, to enter their mystery prize competition.
The presenter answered and said, "Congratulations on being our first caller, all you need to do is answer the following question correctly, to win our Mystery Grand Star Prize"..
"That Fantastic!" I called out in delight.
"Feel Confident?" The presenter asked, "It's a Maths Question."
"Well, I've got a degree in Mathematics from Oxford University," I proudly replied, "and I've taught maths to A level students for the last 20 years"
"Ok then, to win our grand prize of 2 VIP tickets to a Blackburn rovers game and to meet the players after the game, what is 2+2 ?"
"7", I replied.

Yeah sos about that, but after excitedly reaching the end of the opening post, I’ve got to say I felt rather let down by the punch-line.
Could be I have no sense of humour, but more likely joke not funny.

Jokes are not always funny ha ha ...

but I must admit that one makes me smile.

A little along the lines of....

Tony Mowbray decided to set up 11 dustbins around the pitch and have his players do dribbling routines...

At 1/2 time the Dustbins were winning 3-1

I went to a 40th birthday party in Bl*ckburn a few years back. They had a raffle. First prize was a signed R*vers’ Shirt. 2nd prize was a pair of signed R* ers’ shirts.
