They have nowhere near enough money to save Bury.

That’s very much the truth and certainly Gary is a shrewd businessman so won’t be going anywhere near.

From what I hear, sadly, it really does look like the end is nigh for these guys.

Their mum is the club secretary and dad has a stand named after him. Dad Neville also worked at Burnley for a time.

He ain't financing an up and coming team on his own.

If Bury's debts are £8 million then it's going to cost a lot more then that to actually sort the club out, same as it's been with Bolton.

As though he'd plough 8 million into Bury and leave himself with 3 then in another 18 months the club will have eaten his other 3 million he's not daft, anyone with any sense wouldn't touch Bury with a barge pole.

Didn’t Neville help them out last time they were stuck financially?

Plus the fact that, as has been alluded to above, it’s not them or the other Class of ‘92 members that are the predominant money behind the project.

Perhaps Bury need to do a Portsmiuth and pay a penny in the pound, over and over!

If Bury go under it could be the start of a domino effect. There will be more than a handful of L1 and L2 clubs looking on in trepidation.
