That’s very much the truth and certainly Gary is a shrewd businessman so won’t be going anywhere near.Steve1956 wrote:They have nowhere near enough money to save Bury.
From what I hear, sadly, it really does look like the end is nigh for these guys.

Re: Neville Brothers
He ain't financing an up and coming team on his own.
If Bury's debts are £8 million then it's going to cost a lot more then that to actually sort the club out, same as it's been with Bolton.

Re: Neville Brothers
As though he'd plough 8 million into Bury and leave himself with 3 then in another 18 months the club will have eaten his other 3 million he's not daft, anyone with any sense wouldn't touch Bury with a barge pole.kentonclaret wrote:Gary Neville personal wealth estimated at £11 million

Plus the fact that, as has been alluded to above, it’s not them or the other Class of ‘92 members that are the predominant money behind the project.steve1264b wrote:Cant put money into Bury, already have shares in a football league club.

Perhaps Bury need to do a Portsmiuth and pay a penny in the pound, over and over!

Re: Neville Brothers
If Bury go under it could be the start of a domino effect. There will be more than a handful of L1 and L2 clubs looking on in trepidation.
