Re: Here’s our third kit....
We should only need a third strip for Villa, WHU & Man City so by that logic I think we'll wear the following at the away games
Arsenal = Third (but should be away)
Wolves = Home
BHA = Home
Villa = Third
Leicester = Home (but probably away)
Sheffield United = Away
Watford = Home
Spurs = Home
Bournemouth = Away
Everton = Home (but probably away)
Chelsea = Home (but probably away)
Man U = Away
Southampton = Away
Newcastle = Home
Man C = Third
Palace = Away
WHU = Third
Liverpool = Away
Norwich = Home
Arsenal = Third (but should be away)
Wolves = Home
BHA = Home
Villa = Third
Leicester = Home (but probably away)
Sheffield United = Away
Watford = Home
Spurs = Home
Bournemouth = Away
Everton = Home (but probably away)
Chelsea = Home (but probably away)
Man U = Away
Southampton = Away
Newcastle = Home
Man C = Third
Palace = Away
WHU = Third
Liverpool = Away
Norwich = Home

Should’ve brought that Greta in to do the environmental part. This page would’ve been popcorn worthy

I would be very happy to buy replica BFC shirts, and this one is not bad at all. However, like many others, the presence of a betting company logo stops me doing so. I understand why it's there, I just do not condone it. I don't like the idea of promoting betting companies, quite apart from the fact that the logo dominates (and in my view, ruins) the shirt.

Love the colour. Brilliant kit. Only problem is the one everyone knows. The sponsor logo.

Re: Here’s our third kit....
By far the best kit out of the three.
Re: Here’s our third kit....
I've not bought a football shirt in about 10 years, but I'd 100% have bought one of those if it wasn't for the betting logo. I refuse to willingly advertise for a betting company.
I might pop in though and ask if I can have one without the sponsor. Doubt it will be possible but you never know

Never understood why we didn’t stick to all yellow as a kit. Billy Hamilton used to say it was like having another player as they were like beacons in winter games.

I really like the kit, and I do admire the eco sentiment...
Each tree planted by one of the players, perhaps? Who drives from Cheshire in a 5 litre supercharged Range Rover to do so?

Re: Here’s our third kit....
I buy my football shirt because I support Burnley FC... I couldn't give a Rats @rse about the Sponsor.
The Sponsor gives a sh*t load of money to sponsor BFC.
Doesn't make me want to bet .... Those who want to fill the pockets of the bookies do so because they want to, not because they saw something on a footy shirt.
Am watching Reading v Cardiff .... Reading are sponsored by some company called CASUMO ???? who are they, do I care, no I don't. Is it a Japanese Wrestling sponsor????
Cardiff have "Visit Malaysia" on their shirts and I am not thinking "Ooooooooh I must go down to the travel agents and book a holiday to Phuket"

They don’t. They will have a different deal with their sponsor but aren’t they just oversized kids shirts?Clarinetclaret wrote:I wonder how West Ham circumvent the rules?
Re: Here’s our third kit....
Thought it looked good on TV yesterday, easy on the eye and a good contrast to the pitch and the opposition. Wonder if the players find it hard to pick each other out in their periphery whilst wearing a dark kit?
That aside, like Devils Advocate mentioned above, that Arsenal shirt is something else, no hyperbole, that too is one of the nicest shirts I've ever seen.

Thanks for the humorous contribution, but I object to it on principle, not because I am scared I will tempt others into gambling.Cleveleys_claret wrote:I am with this. And I know I'm not alone in objecting to any advertising for that particular industry.

Remember Ferguson sacking off that grey kit in the 90's because his players disappeared during the 1st half at Southampton4:20 wrote:Blinkin' eck', schoolboy error from me that lol, maybe those 'brighter than the sun' advertising boardings have their uses..

My Mrs reckons I am addicted to holidays .....
Its not sponsors on Football shirts that fuel gambling addiction but the likes of Jeff Stelling, (self confessed gambling addict) Merson, LeTissier etc pushing betting on Football shows and every other advert on TV.
Yes it would be fantastic to buy a football shirt without sponsors logo's plastered across the front but hey ho it ain't happening.
Re: Here’s our third kit....
I agree mate, the adverts on TV with football 'stars' are also a part of the problem.Bosscat wrote:

I'd like to think if more people refused to buy the shirt maybe we would see the eradication of gambling sponsorship, but with the money they put in I'm being naive. Until then I just won't buy anything with it on, but I accept to some people it's not enough of an issue to not buy your team's shirt.

If it didn't work the gambling companies wouldn't pay big money to be on the shirts.Bosscat wrote:Jesus wept you are a tad humourless aren't you sonny

Another few years and gambling adverts in football will be banned just like tobacco and alcohol are.
Personally I couldn't give a **** who sponsors us, but the logo on the front of the shirt is horrific.

Well they have kids shirts that go to xxl and also under 18 shirts. So it's obvious that they've used some kind of loophole as under 18 would be usually be covered by kids sizes.ClaretTony wrote:They don’t. I'm not sure many 15-18 yr olds would fit into a kids size tbh
