You'd be surprised how quickly the sales people at the B&Q try and assist you after ignoring you for the past 15 minutes when you try and start a chainsaw

Always cut the limbs just behind any main joints and obviously start from the furthest point and work your way towards the main body when dismembering with a chainsaw. Make sure the blade is good quality and is tough enough for bone.

Best not attempted whilst under the influence of drink or drugs (at least that's my excuse when our beech hedge needs doing).
Wife: That hedge needs doing...badly.
Me: I'm sorry dear I'm just back from the offy and had a couple on the way back- besides love, I don't like doing anything 'badly'.
