united are hopeless

Post by Wile E Coyote » Fri Aug 02, 2019 10:38 pm

United are going nowhere fast, and shelling out 80 mill on maguire proves it. He really is average at best.
could be years before this lot are competing for top honours.

Little wonder that Brendan Rodgers calls it an incredible piece of business. Leicester did not need to sell and they have had United's pants down big time. The only positive from our point of view is our negotiating stance for Tarks when Leicester inevitably come calling.

I think this is an astute signing. Maguire is a good player and a leader in a position Utd desperately needed to strengthen.
The silly transfer fee is fue to his age and the long Leicester contract he signed last season.

Heard this afternoon they have a short list of three, with Tarks very much included on that list. Suspect they would not go beyond £50million for our man.

United fan I know think hes the perfect signing for them. Not so sure myself. Even we got in behind him and drew a red from him. And he will be even less protected at United.

Solid enough. And great in the air but 80m and man utd im not convinced.
