I know this is real life, more or less, but Parma were 'the' team on Championship Manager 00, I think. Maybe a year out. Just like Leeds were over good with Kelly and Harte as the best full backs in the game, with Michael Bridges scoring 30 a season to boot, Parma had Buffon, Cannavaro and, I think, Thuram as the immovable object.

Nevertheless, Parma 20 years ago was a home for future modern day legends. Not been a better centre half since cannavaro, or goalkeeper since buffon. IMO, of course.
