We may be forced into buying a central midfielder at this rate. Dropping like flies.

If he took a TEFL course it would really help along Defour with his English.

You'd like to think we've been looking for a central midfielder anyway but given Defour's situation and Cork getting taken off today it''s maybe even more urgent?

Well, it won't be the first time that we've been forced into doing something and it's turned out a blessing.

Bailey Peacock Farrell has chubby cheeks but he isn't playing so this can't be used as a judgement of his footballing ability.

Oh dear, bad news about Brady. Was he this injury prone at his previous clubs or has it just been since the injury he picked up at Leicester?

We need Pope and McNeil to be injury-free this season. We're relying on a bit of luck.

Definitely. We can't afford to carry players like Defour and Brady in our squad

Jack Corks injury looked really bad at first he slipped and his ankle and knee went in different directions. He got up after treatment and carried on.
Hopefully taken off as a precaution. Tannoy system much improved this season in JHU.

Harsh on Barnes, but Wood is on form, and Jay offers a different threat than Ash.

Quality passage of play. First the ball out to Lowton, then the ball in, then the header. Lovely stuff.

Rodriguez could find himself ahead of Barnes in the pecking order based on this pre-season. It’s a very level playing field between the striking options when it comes to who gets selected.

Agree with this, but we have a lot more options with Jay as part of the equation. Good times if we can get the ball forward into the right areas.
