Missed opportunities....

Post by Aquarian » Tue Aug 06, 2019 10:58 am

Posted similar before under a previous guise but worth another airing. Continues to be baffling why the board and management of BFC aren't permanently tuned into this messageboard so that they can tap into the knowledge and expertise of experienced football managers and coaches, training fitness and injury specialists, experts in football finance and administration, stadium designers and builders, transfer negotiators, 'budding' agents who have in-depth knowledge of players' pay terms and contracts - a small selection of the skills on offer but many more can be added. Brings into mind the following quotations - all of which could be adapted to suit -
'Too bad that all the guys who know how to run the country are busy driving cabs and cutting hair' (George Burns) -
'Employ a teenager whilst they still know everything' (Job Centre sign) -
'Those who can do, those who can't teach' (George Bernard Shaw).

Create a messageboard where people are only allowed to agree with and applaud everything that happens.
See how long it lasts.

Maybe some of the happy clappers can give us a list of topics we're allowed to discuss?

Well done, a good opening argument for the motion of shutting down the message board.

Now, would anyone like to put themselves forward to oppose the motion of shutting down the message board?

Those who can, do; those who can't teach' (George Bernard Shaw).
My experience is that those who can't get top jobs in management and tell those who can how they can do it better-hence the f***ked up NHS

A pair of German air stewardesses in Sri Lanka.
I had to make do with one because she wouldn't let the other in the room to join us. :(
