David Luiz has all but gone on strike at Chelsea to try to force through a move to Arsenal

As much as this guy is an absolute waste of space, I think this may be only the first sign of trouble at Chelsea. I am not convinced Lampard is ready for this post much like Ole at Old Trafford... we shall see. 5th and 6th place are very much accessible for someone having a good season imo.

He will be a serious liability now var has come in, the amount of holding he gets away with at set pieces is beyond a joke

Luiz get rid.

As for Lampard, it’s no mean feat getting Derby to the their best season in years. Maybe a season or two too early but being unable to sign anyone it’s the perfect appointment IMO.

Derby finished in the same position in the league as they’d done in the previous season but had one point less.

I agree with this. With Chelsea, United and Arsenal all going through a bit of a transition period I really think the likes of Leicester and Everton could be pushing for top 6 this season. Hopefully anyway, breaks up the tedium of the same top 6 every year.

And that says everything about the Premier League, the fact that top 6 is the limit of aspiration for most teams. Those that aspire to more than just survival that is.
