I really wanted to enjoy it but it’s just not working for me, I did 3-4 episodes and lost interest, started again 6 months later, same again!

It’s annoying because I got to the second series of Game of thrones and lost interest in that as well, must just be me

It came out a few years back and was Looking forward to it.......then Turned off after 20? Minutes! The Attempt at speaking in a brummie Accent was laughable. Have they mastered it?

I've only just got into this myself. I'd seen a lot of good reviews over the length of the show but until 3-4 weeks ago never watched it. I then noticed it was on i-player & thought I'd give it a bash.
I went through Series 1 in 2-3 days and then had a break before starting Series 2, got to episode 5 of that now.
I've seen that Series 5 is airing soon so I doubt Ill catch up in time to watch that live in sequence.

A lot of long-running series like this start of great then peter out as the characters get stretched beyond where they should be to enable new situations/plots, hoping this is OK for another couple of series before that happens.

Some decent music within the shows I've watched too Nick Cave PJ H etc.

Started promising but went downhill and unnecessarily complicated and far fetched when they started getting involved with the Russians.

Absolutely brilliant series
Watched all seasons in last 3-4 weeks..
It has its comedic elements.. Arthur and Alfie are two of my favourites
Not sure what was too confusing about the Russian connection
Season 4 is fantastic
Nick cave is one of my favourite artists which makes the programme even better

They filmed part of the next series in Haslingden, just off Grane Road.

Fantastic series which got better as it progressed. Can't wait for series 5 to start in the next few weeks.
