Handballs
cannot understand why an attacking player who deliberately knocks a ball into the net is not sent off. If a defending player deliberately handballs to save a goal then he is sent off. To me its a no brainer that each offence is basically the same result.

They are and they’re not.duncandisorderly wrote:It's well different.
Both are trying to con the officials and get/stop a goal by breaking the laws of the game in the same manner.

Re: Handballs
in fact sometimes the defending player gets sent off for a soft handball whereas the attacker virtually always tries to con the ref.
Re: Handballs
Do you think an attacker should be sent off if he fouls a defender in the process of scoring a goal, for example by climbing over them to win a header?
