For a club that claims to do serious homework on its signings, and how players fit into style of play and their general attitude and yet we have £11m of striker sat on the bench. By the way the QPR side word this loan is that they tried to sign him for nothing and it was only because they were unable to come to an agreement with they player that stopped this happening. Think it was a statement from the infamous Lee Hoos

So reckon we were happy giving him away as long as a club took over his wages and then the player will have probably wanted 3 or 4 years on a new contract to agree to a full move

We could have had Jay Rod last year if we had paid 20 million. So 11 million on Vydra, 10 million on Jay Rod. Saved ourselves a million and had a player stuck in the physio room for a season instead getting splinters pulled out of his bum
