Mojacar and Marbella must be nigh on 200 miles apart.

I know the Costa Blanca and recommend Tres Palarmas in Calpe run by Mick who is a fellow Claret and used to have the craven heifer in Burnley. People make a pub and Mick has some great customers

You might try in Pueblo Mojacar. There's a bar/restaurant there that I think was being run from someone from NE Lancs - I think they might have been on one of those "life in the sun" tv programmes. I was there June-2018 and the world cup games were on in several bars.

Sounds like you are doing an Andalucian tour?

There's a bar to the west of San Pedro d'Alcantarre (sp?), place called Bena Vista, that will be showing the Arsenal v Burnley game, just off the main road heading to Estapona. There's also a bowling club just behind the bar run by an ex-Burnley guy. That's only just down the road from Marbella - and easy to reach - if the traffic isn't too busy.
