Out of contract
I'm assuming that we could still sign player who don't currently have a club, and there is some big names out there.
Cabaye
Ben Arfa
Marchisio
Balotelli
Sturridge
Ribery
Vorm
Coentreao
Simpson
Not suggesting any of these should be signed or would even come here but some would definitely be good options as back-up players for clubs like us or around our position.
Personally would like Sturridge here if we could agree a decent PAYP deal (I know it wouldn't happen).

Re: Out of contract
Balotelli what might have been. Incredible talent as a youngster and even now. Peaked in euro 2012 where he was unstoppable.
Just too much going on outside of the game for him to fulfil his talent.
Ben Arfa not too dissimilar.

Vorm would have been a decent back up but we seem well stocked there

Cabaye would be a handy squad man. Wouldn’t touch the rest.

You can pretty much say that about all on that list. And that's the reason they're on there.
Sturridge is clearly more bothered about taking instasnaps of his Rolls Royces and offering up big wonga for dog rewards than playing, I think it's safe to say.
Berahino, anyone?

Re: Out of contract
After listening to Glenn Johnston talk about Berahinos antic's at Stoke, he'll never play in England again.
Heard he's training with a Belgium club
