I've no idea where it is to be honest, but imagine a quiet place is the sort of option he'd go for.Steve1956 wrote:That bloke sat down looks really interested and it must be a really shite place to eat it's empty.

I'm guessing he wouldn't walk in if it was near Burnley, but I'll admit - I've never even heard of the chain.bfcmik wrote:Not a clue. We have 1 in Solihull where I live and there is 1 on New St Station in Birmingham

Surprised youve not heard of then as there's been a few knocking about in Leeds for 3 or 4 years now.FactualFrank wrote:I'm guessing he wouldn't walk in if it was near Burnley, but I'll admit - I've never even heard of the chain.
Been to the Kirkstall one once but posh fast food not really my cup of tea

I had one for the first time, a month ago, at EuroDisney. Surprisingly good.

Re: Barnes pictured after the win...
Ok so there are some in Leeds, but only 3. For the size of Leeds, it's no surprise I've not heard of them. Beeston, the centre and towards Headingley - probably the one you mentioned.Devils_Advocate wrote:Surprised youve not heard of then as there's been a few knocking about in Leeds for 3 or 4 years now.

Very good burgers, he's got taste has Ashley.
Now I've given up meat though, my chances of bumping into him at Five Guys has all but diminished.

Best burger around, but your looking at £20 for 2 people.
Don’t ever make the chip mistake, 1 portion is enough for 3!

Re: Barnes pictured after the win...
Five Guys burgers are our family treat - fantastic burgers and chips cooked in peanut oil. To feed 2 adults and a small boy costs about £23 - in the usual chains (BK and McD) it’s about £15-£18 so the small extra amount isn’t that much, and the difference in quality is well worth it. The one we frequent in MK has monkey nuts for free too.

That doesn't sound much different to the local Brewers Fayres that you see. For a burger and frozen shitty fries, mixed with salad that could break your teeth, you're talking £12-13.Rick_Muller wrote:Five Guys burgers are our family treat - fantastic burgers and chips cooked in peanut oil. I'd have thought you'd be pushing £40 there

There's one in Ashton in the Cinema Park near to IKEA. Been in there before a City game as it's on the tram route into the Etihad. Very good burgers and Hotdogs, but as mentioned, with fries and a drink it'll come in at just shy of £30 for 2 people.

Re: Barnes pictured after the win...
I have a little hamburger which is about the size of a McD quarter pounder with cheese, you get whatever toppings you want, lots to choose from. The good lady likes a sausage (fnar...) and she has a hotdog as does the boy... we then share a large fries - plenty for 3 people and share a refill drink tooksrclaret wrote:£23 to feed 3 people?

you share a refill drink? Is that not a contravention of the establishment’s policy?Rick_Muller wrote:I have a little hamburger which is about the size of a McD quarter pounder with cheese, you get whatever toppings you want, lots to choose from. Why would anyone take a picture of a footballer in a fast food restaurant?

Re: Barnes pictured after the win...
That’s the thing - we were encouraged to do it by the manager, he said we like people to enjoy the food when we first went in, and said if we don’t mind sharing they recommend it. Granted adult friends probably wouldn’t share, but we do as we both drink Coke Zero.. then when we’ve done, the boy gets some peach squash which is his favourite.Rileybobs wrote: you share a refill drink? If Ashley Barnes scores twice in every game this season, I don't care if he exists on a diet of Pork Scratchings, Diet Coke, and Marlboro Gold ....

Funnily enough we encouraged to do the same last time I went to one in the US.
