The turnstiles should have opened at 1.45 .however the Longside upper did not open umtil approx 2-15, lower about 2-10. When I questioned one of the jobsworth supervisors she said they had a staff shortage as several turnstile operators had not turned up for work.
They had about 6 lower turnstiles open but no upper....they cud easily have closed a couple of the lower turnstiles and moved the guys to open a couple of the upper ones if they had used a bit of common sense!!!
What made it worse was the rain was like a monsoon with very few places to shelter.
Anyway.the 3-0 win made up for the soaking lol .
Ah but what you don't realise is that those operators have only been trained for the lower turnstiles and switching to the uppers would have been against H&S policy

On reading the weather forecast prior to Leaving Home for the game I chose suitable waterproof clothing.......it was a no Brainer really.
