Re: Ashley Barnes question
But Rashford plays for a top 6 club. I reckon Ashley will have a far better percentage of chances converted?Tall Paul wrote:Rashford has 27 PL goals in 111 games
Barnes has 32 in 136
Rashford's record is slightly better in terms of goals per game but they're very similar and Rashford is much younger.

Re: Ashley Barnes question
I chatted with Jim Thomson on Saturday and I asked how he'd have handled Ash. Jim said he'd be a 'nightmare' to play against.ClaretTony wrote:Ben Mee was asked about Barnes after Saturday’s game. He said he’s a nightmare to play against.

Re: Ashley Barnes question
I sometimes don't think we realise just how good a player he's become. He got that cruciate and missed the last promotion season. He looked a bit shaky when he did get back in but the last 18 months or so, if not longer, his game has gone through the roof.turfytopper wrote:I chatted with Jim Thomson on Saturday and I asked how he'd have handled Ash.
