CFS Block 13

Post by Claretmatt4 » Mon Aug 12, 2019 11:30 am

Hi all,

Just moved season tickets to this block, does anyone have a picture of the view from here?

Its the middle block of the three opened up this season.

Thanks!

I'm meant to be in that block too - sat at the front of block 13 on Saturday... here's the view I took

I’ve moved into that block but don’t have a picture - I don’t have a seat either as the seat I was sold doesn’t currently exist

You don't realise until you are in that stand just how misaligned the Jimmy Mac stand is.

Amazing thanks! We're about halfway up the block so looks perfect. No issue with the stanchion!

shouldn't be, perhaps obscuring view of the corner of the pitch a little, bit much better that where I was before (row Z seat 98) I couldn't see most of the action without swaying constantly.

Do Burnley have a bigger share of the CFS now?

Yes it's pretty much 50/50 split now with the away fans

That is excellent. Always thought the previous split gave the away fans an unfair advantage.

Who the hell was responsible for the positioning of that stand?

I've moved into there, the view is very good. Shame the roof was leaking a bit on saturday but it's an old stand. Did anyone see the stewards collecting broken seats after the game? Apparently the club are reviewing CCTV and will fine anyone that breaks one £70

I’ve heard all sorts of different stories but it was clearly built in the wrong position. It’s so far over, they had to knock part of the wall down at the end of the lower tier of the Longside because it was blocking the view for some in the Jimmy Mac.

All because they didn't want to demolish the police box, even so, the Longside should have been built further back.

The pitch was also moved, wasn’t it CT?

I bet once this was pointed out by the club to the builders/principal contractors, a discount was offered as opposed to building it in the `right` position, and we went for the discount.

Did we not sue the builders for a significant sum

That glorified concrete garage? So glad they got their priorities right.
