I would agree he shouldn't be in team of the week but to say he was toss is going far too far the other way IMHO

Guardian was only a couple of weeks away from the same three: Barnes, Pieters and Tom Heaton - yes, they had, correctly, listed Tom as Aston Villa.

Their main pic had Tom diving full stretch in the fore-ground, with defenders in claret and blue in front of him - but, the ball was beyond him and heading for the "back of the net."

How often does a keeper that's conceded 3 get in team of the week?

Guardian also reported that Nick Pope's dad had reminded him that he'd not played in the Premier League for 454 days. I think Nick's referenced before that his dad aims to keep him grounded (apart from when he's jumping for crosses, of course).

Alan Shearer has Barnes and Pieters in the PL Team of the Week too. I wonder what all these neutrals are seeing that you don't? Instead of looking for negative things to say about players why not try and look for positives - 2 assists (even if 1 was more of a fluke than an intentional pass), kept a quite nippy winger and wing-back reasonably quiet and helped out in the centre of defence a couple of times. That fist pumping when we scored and again at the end was good to see as well!
