Thanks for clarifying that it was really helpful. Due to his injury record and strain on his body he may be able to maintain his playing in the Belgian League. His body may not cope with the demands of the PL without triggering another injury or reoccurrence if an injury. Defour has not been injured on purpose. He was probably the main factor when we got as high as 4th at Christmas and ended up in the Europa league. That first half of the season he was one of the best players not just for us but in the league.
Therefore he was a factor in giving me Athens. The best away day I have ever been on. He was worth it just for that.
