I’m assuming this is where it will be with Tony the Tiger on the wall.

I went past the building not long since. It’s in Trafford Park but I thought it was still in use.

I think you will find that building is next door to Old Trafford Cricket Ground.
They do also have a building in Trafford Park though.

Thanks - the one in Trafford Park was the only one I could think of but I thought it was still in use. I’d forgotten about their building by the cricket ground.2 Bee Holed wrote:I think you will find that building is next door to Old Trafford Cricket Ground.

I wonder how many of the class of 92 have a properly bachelors degree? ( all will probably have honorary degrees)
Can anyone, regardless of academic ability start a uni?

It’s a business and anyone can set up a business. They need to be attached to an existing university to offer degrees and they’ve done that with University of Lancaster just as UCFB did with New Bucks University.Inchy wrote:Can anyone, regardless of academic ability start a uni?
Meanwhile UCFB is expanding with new campus’s in New York, Atalanta, Toronto & Melbourne, the latter based at the MCG.

Crikey, I have had to look this up. Yes this pic below is the one next to the Cricket Ground and was offices.ClaretTony wrote:Thanks - the one in Trafford Park was the only one I could think of but I thought it was still in use. I’d forgotten about their building by the cricket ground.
The offices have now moved to Media City on Salford Quays. So the Cricket Ground building is empty.
Only built and opened in 1990 too, probably a bit more suited to University studies too, rather than a factory.

The one in Melbourne will have to change its name to UCSB or the Aussies will think it’s Aussie Rules!!ClaretTony wrote:It’s a business and anyone can set up a business. A number of Universities springing up are just another money making scam rolled out to extract money from people who should know no better.

As said above, it’s an office Building next door to the cricket ground on Brian Statham Way that they’re using for it.
A big campus style building, the former Kellogg’s HQ and I believe as part of the planning they’re spending money in other areas of Stretford.
You can see this really gathering some momentum from hereon in.

Noticed Scholes looking completely out of his comfort zone at the press conference whilst Gary Neville as usual did all the talking.
It’s clear this consortium are being approached left right and centre with business propositions and the third parties are the ones putting any funding / doing all the work. All they want from Neville, Giggs etc is for them to endorse it and put their name to it....doesn’t mean it will be a success at all....just easier for them to get free publicity.
